Samuel Ford, Singer-songwriter from Sussex has today premiered his brand new single ‘Ballet’ ahead of his debut EP release, coming May 2015. Sam performed for us at the beginning of Live Sessions Volume 3 during June 2014; a year after the release of his beautiful single ‘The Storm’.
After premiering his new single ‘Ballet’ exclusively with The Line of Best Fit, Samuel had the following to say about it’s origins:
“Ford says: “I wrote ‘Ballet’ as a kind of song-painting about the constant two-way struggle and tug of war as a relationship unfurls. Whilst the disintegration is always biased and one-sided for one person, it is equally the same for the other – leaving an almost dance-like introspective inspection to take place.” – CREDIT: The Line of Best Fit

Hope Murphy has just released a brand new single titled ‘Born Ready’ with producer duo The Disco Fries. The duo, originally from New York City have released the single as part of their excellent new EP ‘Autonomous’. Have a little read about the origins of the mini-album below, and check out a preview of the single, available to purchase now on Beatport:
‘Our mini-album, ‘Autonomous’, was named simply because we have had the freedom to act independently on this project from the very beginning. In short, we created all of the music purely how we wanted, without ’suit’ influence, or even worrying a whole lot about what style the music was. From artwork to collaborators, arrangement to sound-sets, ‘Autonomous’ is a small piece of a bigger vision of what we have always wanted to do from the time we started making remixes together in a dorm room.’ – The Disco Fries
Find Hope’s Live Sessions below! She covered Wankelmut & Emma Louise’s ‘My Head is a Jungle’ and performed her original song ‘Scream':
